    4000ER base station, 12V power with solar, set it and forget it
    For projects that can mount a 4000ER base station at a vantage point higher than the surrounding landscape, your 4000ER base station can collect GPS data from your GPS collars automatically and for an extended period of time. The 4000ER base station is made to operate either on its own internal, rechargeable battery or from an external 12V battery charging from a solar panel.

    20 gram GPS collar with 100-meter remote download range
    A Chilean group needed a 20 gram GPS collar for a chinchilla project. Generally, that is not a problem at all. But they needed long battery life and a VHF transmitter. We used the FLR V GPS data logger as the basis for this order.

    4000E discontinued after 8 years in production
    Our 4000E GPS data logger was the result of a single meeting in July 2008 with one wildlife biologist who needed something that he could not find elsewhere. For 8 years this product was the basis for many wildlife studies all over the world.
