GPS on time limitation (all products)
GPS Timeout-A modern GPS receiver needs somewhere between 1 and 35 seconds to acquire enough GPS satellite signals and calculate a GPS position. However, in the field on wild animals, conditions might be such that the GPS receiver is not able to receive enough GPS satellite signals. Therefore it is important to limit the amount of time that the GPS receiver is allowed to remain on to achieve this. All of our GPS products offer 3 different limits, 60, 90 or 120 seconds.
